Album Tin

I was so excited when SU! put these tins as a write in to the current catalog. Item # 112410 you get a pack of 3 for $9.95 and they make awesome gifts! We used them a Gifts Galore but I have also done several things with them that I love. Here is a tin I made my MIL for her birthday. I made one for my little sister too but forgot to take a picture....UGH. My sisters was done in white with bright colors since her room is black and white with splashes of color.

Here is the inside - The top part is just a card I made to fit inside the tin and the album part is made from 5 of our clear envelopes stuck together and folded in half. I added a chocolate chip hinge and punched it with the crod a dile to add jumbo eyelets for reinforcement. (the ribbon cover the eyelets). Yes, the coloring of these last couple of photos is bad but I ran out of time to "work" on the pictures so they are straight out of the camera and the lighting in the basement is well...not so hot! This is a wallet sized photo and as you can see there is still lots of room so you could crop a 3 x 5 photo to fit perfectly. You have space in this album for 20 photos! My MIL has been caring around a large zip lock bag with laminated photos of the kids and I just couldn't have that any longer. Now she has something compact that fits in her purse and look great too :) She LOVED it! I knew she would since it was going to hold pictures of her grand kids ;o)
