I love that Stampin’ Up! spoils us at each event we attend but this year was over the top! We just arrived home from leadership 2011, +one, where part of our group made the highlights page, showing off our new beautiful bags! We call ourselves the bag ladies because if you’ve been in SU long enough then you have a closet full of BAGS!

This Leadership bag/purse is my favorite yet, it quilted with our vintage wallpaper pattern on it!

Here’s the matching day planner I got from my service account manager. The rubber Stampin’ Up Logo is so fun and the bookmark on the front is hand made from the new flower die in the occasions mini catalog!

Here’s our team at the end of the conference, 10pm after a FULL 2 1/2 days and we all still looked great!!!  Check out the beautiful broach we made during the make ‘n takes (by far the best event ever). 

I’m in LOVE with the new window panes, they’re beautiful! Check out the butterfly image attached to the broach on the clear window pane.

Founder’s Circle Day 2

I’m in heaven – Thank you, LORD, that you granted me this opportunity!

We started this beautiful day off at by driving to Kanab. We hopped on two busses and had a fabulous 2 hour bus ride to see the Stampin’ Up! rubber stamp manufacturing facility. Shelli asked several questions about what we LOVED and what we would Change.

The employees all meet us out side and lined the walk ways to cheer as we got off the bus. There are about 70 amazing people that work hard and with so much love. They were simply wonderful. 

All I can say is AMAZING! It was thrilling to see how each step that goes into creating the stamp set. We could not take pictures but I got to “cut out” one of the Just Believe Stamp sets!

Upstairs in the facility is a full 3 bedroom apartment for the Staff to stay when they come to Kanab for training. And Shelli is there almost once a month, sometimes even with her grand kids! We got to hear all about why Kanab was so special to Shelli.

(Hey, Jenny, move girl…your in all my pictures!!! *wink* I’m so glad you are. It’s been a highlight of my trip to get to know you.)

After the tour they took us to the Park that Stampin’ Up! built. We had a great lunch and every meal is topped of with an amazing desert! Our lunch came in these cute black insulated purses, so cute! ***I need to get a picture from Joanna Banta to put HERE***

I had to borrow so closed toed shoes from Diana so here’s my feet in the BOUNCY rubber with and with out shoes!

We played Bingo for product the whole way back and then played Plinko for Prizes back at the Hotel. YES, I am a little excited about my prizes!

The next few hours was spent relaxing with a cookie and some friends doing Make N Takes with that cute new set I teased you with yesterday. I still can’t show you the set but here’s the giant peanut butter cookie (YUM – my favorite) and one of the cards I made with my new set and matching punch!!!

We ended the night with another cupcake…….this one was on my bed and it was filled with a 1x1 simply adorned charm and necklace, created by Shelli and her girls! It’s beautiful, can’t wait for you to see it….maybe in my pictures tomorrow?????

Founder’s Day 1 quick pics…

Hey girls, I want to go back and enjoy the company but I had to share a few quick pics!!!

I meet up with Dianna Gibbs in Salt Lake and hopped on a plane full of Founder's Circle ladies but there were a whopping 11 rows in the whole plane. I've never flown on a plane that small!


 
The Vinyl is on all the windows and it unbelievable! I need to get a picture of Tess!

The gathering place is filled with goodies to eat and PRIZES every day!!!  

We'll get hand dipped chocolates EVERY day!!!  

 

This was the name plate on my door! It’s a record for the Fabulous “fifties” theme! 
More tomorrow….gotta run!

I'm back from dinner and it was delightful - we had a great table of ladies that I got to share stories with and we laughed all night!

I need to ask what I can "show" you - so for now let's just say I was SOOO excited about the NEW Stamp set and Matching Punch from the next Occasions Mini plus 4 ink pads and a roll of ribbon. I also won a set of the pearl jewels, early today!

My Awards Night Story

   Imagine sitting with all the top demonstrators in the section reserved just for the 130 some ladies invited to attend Founders Circle 2010. Ronda Wade looks and me and says, “Are you nervous?” and I answer, “No”. What was I thinking? I guess it was all just unreal.

   I had received the Founders Circle bag on Wednesday when we checked into the awards booth. I knew when we got there I had 10 team members that had worked hard and hit $1000 in sales this year. Plus, of our 3 amazing ladies that busted it big time and promoted to Sr. Supervisor. I hit my person goal for the year, of 20K in sales, because of all my amazing friends that come weekly to all my classes! So I had tons of Pin and Free sets to pick up when I got to the awards booth!
    I started the Training with Ronda program in February of this year. She is amazing and got me on track, in just 4 short months, to achieve the Alaskan cruise. That was never something I thought was possible! Ronda also told me I could be in the running for Founders and that’s what keep me pushing the last few months.
   So as we walked up to the booth I was hoping for some amazing news! Below is the picture Amanda snapped as the sweet lady behind said, “Is that all of the awards?” then looked down grabbed the Founders Bag and said, “Oh, I guess there is ONE more!” I screamed LOUD (you all know how loud I can be hehehe)!

   They started with #100 and my Sweet Friend Missy Shipman's name was called! I knew I would be one of the next names called. My TEAM kicked tail this year and 20K in sales is great, but small in comparison to the majority in this group! The numbers just keep coming…I wasn’t in the the 90’s. The 80’s when by and I was still sitting there. NOW, my heart is pumping in my chest. I am shocked! The 70’s when by along with the 60’s….I was shaking so badly I couldn’t sit still. “ Number #57 from Acworth, GA.” Oh my, that was me! The L-inked Together TEAM had earned us #57 – I am so proud of y’all!

L-inked Ladies, I love each of you so much. It is an honor to work beside each of you. I look forward to seeing big things in your businesses this year! Please know, that I pray for each of you on a regular basis. I am blessed because of you and I thank God daily for you in my life! Next Year you all must be in Salt Lake with me!!!

Here’s my favorite Card from Convention, it’s not a swap, Jackie Barfiled gave it to me as a congratulations for earning the cruise to Alaska. Didn’t she do an amazing job of portraying the event! Thanks, Jackie, love ya!
