What I've been working on February

I love that our mid month MDS Blog Hop is all about what we've been working on.... First I hope the BIG one was obvious when you landed on my blog. Yes, another blog change :) I love it and would love to know what you think, too.

My second project is a layout I've been working on for MONTHS and finally decided to finish it up. None of you have unfinished MDS projects do you? LOL

To get the sticker look on the letters I just used a really WIDE border around the DSP.

Enjoy the hop and after you've been inspired go finish one of your MDS projects!

Summer Fun MDS Style

Hello Designers,

I'm have some computer issues this week. I think I need to take it to my local mac store and have them clean it up! So I've pull out a few of my favorite summer layouts for todays MDS Blog Hop.

Because this paper took me a while to create I thought I'd post it as a FREEBIE. Go ahead just click on the picture and "save as" so you can use it on your next project. If you do I'd love to see what you've made so post it on www.mydigitalstudio.net and please label it "Summer Fun FREEBIE" so I can find it :) I'll find a better way to give you a freebie with out it taking over the WHOLE page but until then pardon the mess.....*wink*

So "Mini" ways to be inspired - MDS blog hop

Hello Designers!
Welcome back - this week we were invited to looked through the Holiday "Mini" Catalog to be inspired or use new products! I have a hard time even calling that a Mini - wow - it's big, beautiful and packed full of goodies I had to have. I choose the snowman card on the bottom of page 9.  click here to view the Mini Catalog in flash player

I had a blast in MDS2 using the Freeform brush to WATERCOLOR (video below)!!!  Isn't she just stinkin cute? I love both the new coloring options and the crop tool for stamps and embellishments...whoo hooo.
Get excited designers because MDS2 is so flippin fantastic....

Hop on over to see the rest of the Mini project ideas!

Supplies used: I've done the searching, so you don't have to.

Stretching our Creativity

Sometimes we need to be stretched a little....
So often I find myself looking for ideas and never having time to make anything. As a demonstrator we get this AMAZING stampin' success magazine monthly and so I challenged my team, at our meeting last Sat, to pick a card layout out of one of our publications and then CASE it (Copy And Share Everything). One catch they couldn't case it exactly they had to use only the NEW supplies I had on the counter.
UGH right?

They rose to the challenge and kicked it's tail!!!
Check out my AMAZING, talented team members designs. I've taken a picture of the card on top of the magazine card they were casing.
