Home Decor Samples and Winners…will you be next?

  This is my favorite sample for last Tuesdays Home Decor Class!

This picture used both Serve the Lord (Small Black # 114773 $14.95) and Parisian Damask (Large Dark Gray 114801 $17.95). I added a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 right into the front of the mat to help soften the dark Damask and the black mat (shown below without the vellum). The frames is an 11 x14” document frame from Michael's for $9 and some change. 

These mirrors are so cool and super easy!!! I used the Level 1 Hostess Flower Finesse in White cut it in half, with a Kraft Knife, and added it to these mirrors I found at the DOLLAR TREE!!! Yes, this gift would cost all of $2.00 since the flower was free for hosting a party! Call me and schedule your party today.

Here it is again in black!!! Love it! I used the Kraft Knife again just to trim off the bottom that hung over the edge. 

 

Jingle all the Way (small chocolate chip # 114713 $3.95) is one of the many Christmas images we carry. Ask me for a catalog so you can start creating one of a kind gifts for your family and friends!

LOVE the Just Sports (set of 4 Chocolate # 114797 $ 39.95)! These things are HUGE!!! The soccer ball measures 12 1/4” x 12 1/4”. I made these for a baby shower gift for a friend. I painted press board with White Trim paint, added the vinyl decor and inked the edges in acrylic paint. The robe hooks on the front were from Home Depot.

My mom cut out the letters for the name with our raw chocolate chip vinyl.

My first ever photo Shoot…and the winner!

The winner of the SAB set is Sherily! Thanks everyone for the comments on my blog and my splitcoast gallery about the game box.

I have several new stamped things to share but I don’t want to spoil the fun at my next few classes. So, I thought I would share another (new found) passion – photography! I have had my Nikon D40 since July and my DH bought my a HUGE lens and flash for Christmas. If you use an SLR or DSLR I would love to know your most often used lens and filters!!! Post it in a comment for another free SAB set – deadline Feb 26th.

Here are a few sweet shots of Amelia, straight out of the camera. Good but not great. I am still learning the lighting and such. I need a  few classes before I’ll know how to get  perfect shots that don’t have to be manipulated…but that is another part I love….Digitally altering the photo.

If you like action type shots. I would LOVE to come take a few photos of your family. Playful pictures capture who we are, unlike the beautiful fake faces we put on in a portrait! These are the type of memories I want to capture and remember. Let me know what you think!
