Day 3 – Founder’s Circle 2010!

***Scroll down for BIG NEWS***

We had to get up early, again, to go to the 1/2 day regional. While I was very excited about the regional, I think our itinerary lied when it said get lots of ZZZZ’s. We had to load the bus at 7:30AM!

We were given the Day of Gratitude #121148 stamp set from the holiday mini to complete the Make N Takes for the regional. We did get to pick wood or clear…of course, I got clear…. love them! This is such a beautiful set and they did so much with it but I don’t have pictures of our projects because do you think I did the Make N Takes?!?  NO!!! DSC_0418

Here’s my table STAMPIN’! Joanna is on the right, check out her cute shirt! Hey Girl, thinking about you!

I took pictures while they stamped. Other tables were speed stampin’ ….1 person completed 1 of the make n takes for all of the people at her table. Glad my table wasn’t counting on me!

If you read my convention 2010 post you’ll find I slept through the Make N Takes this year. It’s been 3 years since I’ve completed any projects at a  Stampin’ Up! event. So why start now? hehehe I’ll try to have them done before I see you at the next class, on the 30th!

We had several WOW presenters including Kimberly Van Diepen #1 demo in 2010. A sample of her projects are shown above! I LOVE her style and as you all know I case her a lot. She is such a sweet lady I got to spend a little time chatting with her. Jenny Peterson from yesterday’s post is her team member and # 4 rising star this year, Jenny and I spent a lot of time together…Miss you Jenny!

BIG NEWS ALERT ****

Because I was at this regional, if you join my team between NOW and Oct 2nd you’ll get a free stamp set in your kit in addition to the greenhouse gala bag! I can’t show you the set but here are a few samples…..LOVE it!!!

Game box filled with spoons = FUN

su style game boxI wish I had taken a photo at our last club meeting. We made this cute game box and filled it with spoons, cards, a score card and dice. Since I gave them spoons I had to show then how to play the game. We had so much fun and played for almost an hour. The ladies said we had to play a game before every club. If you have a great easy game night suggestion post a comment here and you could win a SAB set of your choice! Deadline for comments- Feb, 17th The score card was made from a page divider cut with the top note sizzix die. And the poker chip was made form the bottom of the baskets score cardand blooms die.

More Convention FUN!

We took a tour of the Stampin' Up! home office in Riverton, Utah. My favorite part of the tour is always the inspiration from the Legacy Rooms.
This is a sample of the Decore Elements and one from the 2nd phase coming soon!

Can you believe this is the inside of the Riverton office?
Packing lines in the Riverton factory. It's extremely efficient and runs on laser bar code readers!
Demo support hard at work answering our calls :)

This was the line that wrapped around the building for Momento Mall. I know we all love to buy logo wear, because if we didn't the line would not have been 3 HOURS long!!!

We got there an hours before the store opened and this is how far back we were in the line. Lots of swapping going on all around us. We didn't make general swaps so we missed out on all the action :(
Only 30 minutes after the door opened we are ready to go in. Whoo hoo....watch out bank account. Sorry I didn't get any pictures of the goods inside the store but I will take one of the great new tote that matches our Maine Blueberry designer series paper.

While waiting in line we were all freaking out because a few of the ladies had picked up their convention bag and the new catalog. Here's Lisa with the golden ticket! As soon as we get done here we will run to get the new catty :)

Got it and it's beautiful!!! It's by far the best bag in the last 6 years that I have been to convention.

Here we are in the convention hall on day 1 with 6,000 screaming women - We got up at 5:00am to be in line at 6:00. Well worth it because as you can see we are in the front row, yeah!

SU! always opens the even with a bang and this year was no exception!

Enough for now! Go get something done, hehe.
