Memorable Meeting

Our June Team Meeting will be hard to forget…we had a group of 14 ladies and I ran it like a party! We had a blast, laughed the entire time, and got to stamp a little, too! I didn’t realize how super completive these ladies were till the “fun” started! As I passed product and did some demonstrations, I had tickets to give out to the ladies that participated (answered questions, told us what they liked about the product, etc.) Man, I gave a ton of tickets and a ton of FREE cards away!

Our swaps were amazing, too! I hope I have not set the bar too high for the next meeting! If you want to see what all the fuss is about – PLEASE – mark your calendar and join us for the next one….July 11th 2:00- 4:00pm.

This was a swap I received at Leadership – sorry I can’t give credit, it didn’t have a name. If it’s your card let me know so I can post a link to you!

This is a card my 10 year old daughter cased from a card that Shannon showed us at Leadership.  Techniques used: Rock N Roll, Faux Suede, and Create your own Shimmer Cardstock! These are all easy techniques, that create a WOW effect, that I am teaching at my workshops.

The first picture does not show the shimmer….I love adding shimmer paint to a project. I can’t wait to show you guys an awesome new product in the Summer Mini Catalog!

This was one of our Make N Takes, that we created with our Free Stamp set at Regional's, the day after Leadership!

I wish I could take credit for this beauty, but it WAS created by one of our own, Abby Biringer!

This last card was an original by me!  I have been working on cards for Work Shops in April and this was one of my simple but striking creations. I would love to teach you how easy this is!

Many of you bought Vintage Vogue last month at one of my classes, because you saw tons of samples on how to use the set. I thought you might like to case some of those cards so I’ll add a few over the next few days!

This first card has tons of details and texture! I used the Crop A Dile to get the bumps at the top. I score the lines at the bottom and used the Mat Pack and Paper Piercing tool to get all the holes! Gotta Love the Satin Ribbon, it so yummy!

Here is the same style with less work *wink*  I used the Very Vintage wheel at the top to create the texture and added the words at the bottom. And you can’t have a naked envelope so I stamped it…..Humm….Maybe I shouldn’t use that word on my blog, it may get traffic I am not looking for. hahaha


I would never had used these colors together but I was browsing our Demo Only Stampin’ Connection site and fell in love with a card similar to this….so I cased it before my brain forgot it was not my original! Colors are More Mustard, Very Vanilla and Always Artichoke. 
The Word Window is inset on this card. I stamped the vine form Vintage Vogue and the Happy Mother’s Day form Teeny Tiny Wishes on the top layer, then punched it out. I glued it flat to the card surface and put the top layer on with pop dots.
