Ok, first I need to apologize to each of you that has come to visit numerous times to find.....NOTHING NEW. I'm not sure where the last 3 weeks went. I guess being sick thew me weeks backward.

Well, I had my Creative Cards class this morning (always fun) but when it was over I went to do my daily search of all things new (Stampin' Up! related). Today, I was blown away......I almost thought there would be an APRIL FOOLS sign under all the announcements.

There are new MYSTERY GRAB BAGS - how fun is that!

Another COOL thing is the update for MDS, it has so much it can do already and they have made it better! If you own MDS just go the the help tab in the top menu and select updates.
You'll be able to Group items together and then move, rotate and even recolor them all at once, and too many more to list but you can check it out here.

Make sure to put April 16th on your calendar for My next MDS class, even if you don't own the program you'll be amazed to see all it can do! So I hope you join me at 1:00 on the 16th.

Digital Elegance

Our next Digital class will be this Sat, Feb 19th at 1:00.
I am so excited!  This class has been such a blast to design for. I can't wait to watch, as you start to become a digital designer, too! Here's a sneak peek of the project we'll design in the class.

Should it stay or should it go now....

Are you singing and bouncing in your chair...I am! 

Man, the new year will be here before we blink and I have tons of house keeping to do. Well, not actual house keeping because that's no fun LOL. But my Business Schedule needs an overhaul!

At the beginning of 2010 you were filling my classes like you couldn't get enough but around September I noticed several empty chairs at each class which let me know you were over the crazy schedule, too. Or, maybe I had just recruited all of you hehehe. You are important to me and I want to make sure I'm serving your needs (not my own). I'm so thankful to have such amazing customers and downline. You have allowed me to build a thriving business that lets me to do pretty cool things for my family. THANK YOU!  

So, here's what I need now; I want to know for 2011 what classes you just can't do without and what times you plan to attend! 

Here's the potential class schedule for 2011:

• Bunco, Stampin' Style: 1st Thursday 6:30 pm (starting in Feb): No Bunco in January For $15 you'll create a simple card and have fun with friends for a few hours. The winners pick product from any of the current Stampin' Up! catalogs. We have 16 spots so you're committing for 16 months. Or you can sign up to sub, the members would call you to fill their space if they can't attend. 

• Cards, 1 to send & 1 to keep: 1st Friday 10am & 7pm  January 7th For $10 you'll create 4 cards total, 2 each of 2 designs (that's where the name comes from). This class can be free with a $20 order or you can join the Card Club and commit to this class for 6 months with a $25 order each month.  Jan 7th RSVP 10AM or RSVP 7PM 

• Team Gathering: 2nd Sunday 2-4:30pm  January 9th This is a place for the L-inked Together Team to share ideas and learn ways to make their Hobby profitable! You can join us once for FREE. 

• More then Memories: 3rd Saturday (starting in Feb) January's classes will be held on Jan 22nd  

1. 10AM -12PM Traditional Scrapbooking: Each class you'll create a double page layout and a single page (that will be completed the next month) this will allow us to create an addition 6 layouts over the year with no extra cost! $10 per class or free with a $20 order. 
2. 1PM- 3PM Digital Design: $10 in new downloads that we will use during the class, if you already own the download the $10 will be accumulate towards a printing credit. We'll play with My Digital Studio to create calendars, pages, invitations, business tools and more! Bring your laptop to play along. 

• To Die For, Big Shot Techniques: 3rd Thursday 10am & 7pm January 20th  Each class you'll create 2 projects with the same die, things to give as gifts or add a unique item to your home decor. You can pay just $10, join the Big Shot Club and commit to this class for 6 months, or place a $20 order at the class and it's FREE. 

• Chics and Chocolate: last Friday 10 am & 7pm  January 28th If you missed a class earlier in the month you can join us for a night of fellowship, chocolate and coffee.  And I'll have the kit ready to create anything you missed. $10 per kit, a maximum of 2 classes can be made up in one night. (Digital Design is not available at this time)

Ok, well I’m a mess anyway but that just means I have to pray more everyday :) And I sure am glad you love me the way I am!

She told me she didn’t want it to look like a wedding invitation, and to her, card #3 did…many of you told me that was your favorite. It’s my favorite too! I am so excited to see that the  Perfect Polka Dots textured folder WILL be in the new catalog in JULY!

• Craft Bashful Blue – sponged at the top

Side note- if you don’t have a Craft So Saffron ink pad – you NEED it – when you want to stamp something vanilla on a colored cardstock please don’t pick the vanilla ink pad…it’s just too light. The So Saffron is perfect on every color of cardstock!!! Plus, I use it to create a soft sponged edged all the time. I will be sad to see this craft pad go in June! I will be keeping mine :)

Many of you bought Vintage Vogue last month at one of my classes, because you saw tons of samples on how to use the set. I thought you might like to case some of those cards so I’ll add a few over the next few days!

This first card has tons of details and texture! I used the Crop A Dile to get the bumps at the top. I score the lines at the bottom and used the Mat Pack and Paper Piercing tool to get all the holes! Gotta Love the Satin Ribbon, it so yummy!

Here is the same style with less work *wink*  I used the Very Vintage wheel at the top to create the texture and added the words at the bottom. And you can’t have a naked envelope so I stamped it…..Humm….Maybe I shouldn’t use that word on my blog, it may get traffic I am not looking for. hahaha


I would never had used these colors together but I was browsing our Demo Only Stampin’ Connection site and fell in love with a card similar to this….so I cased it before my brain forgot it was not my original! Colors are More Mustard, Very Vanilla and Always Artichoke. 
The Word Window is inset on this card. I stamped the vine form Vintage Vogue and the Happy Mother’s Day form Teeny Tiny Wishes on the top layer, then punched it out. I glued it flat to the card surface and put the top layer on with pop dots.
